A while back I noticed that recordings from my controller don't have master tempo applied to them as I'm changing a track's speed. Obviously master tempo is always enabled & I don't notice any pitch shifts when I'm changing speeds during a mix.
I've made test recordings without the controller & any speed changes don't pitch up or down, so what's special about the Denon ASIO recording interface? How come it isn't just looped through from what's being played out over the main output?

I'm going to do some tests later even trying recording from a different program & see if that changes anything. There's still the possibility there was user error involved & master tempo got turned off somewhere. In which case I'll get ready to eat humble pie.
