Topic: Virtual DJ audio glitching during gigs – master volume resets to max
Hi everyone,

I’ve been having some issues with Virtual DJ and I’d like to see if anyone can help. The audio sometimes fails randomly: the sound glitches — it slows down and cuts in and out for about 3–4 seconds, then goes back to normal. Something I noticed is that when it comes back, the master volume automatically resets to maximum.

What’s strange is that this doesn’t always happen. For example, in other sessions it didn’t occur at all, even though I played for longer. I’ve been tweaking a lot of settings, including latency, but the situation hasn’t improved.

I’ve tried playing FLAC, MP3, and iDJPool tracks, and it happens with any of them. I also tested on another laptop and got the same issue. One of them is a Lenovo Gaming Pad 3, and the other is an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 — the problem happens on both.

Because of this, I suspect it might be a software-related issue. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Try to increase latency or disable exclusiveAudioAccess if enabled

you may also try a different USB cable i feel like the volume resetting could be an indication of it losing connection and re-initializing
