Topic: How to assign a different midi channel when you have a conflict

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Once again , im trying to do something i totally haven't done in years , i have my head kinda wrapped around it. But could use some help. How would i go in midi ox to change the midi channel of two same devices so that i can map them separately in virtual dj? for example APC 40 and APC 40 . I want one to do video and one to do audio ad-dons. Advice an help would be great . Respect to all the people doing all the help here and upgrades on the software.

Unless you are connecting devices using actual MIDI cables and not USB, you don't need to change anything, and VirtualDJ will see each device separately, and you can map them independently.
