Topic: Deck 1 & 2 playing even when fader is down - Dennon MC 6000

Hi guys, ive had this problem for a while and need help to reslove it. Im running a Denon MC6000 MK1 with the 8.2vdj mapper. and the left channels DECK 1 & DECK 2 seem to be playing out regardless of fader position. Now i can adjust the channels eq and can hear the changes, so that says to me that the channels are playing out the PFL (pre fade) rather than Fade. anyone come across this or willing to assist in resolving it.

This appears to only happen on midi and not line output

any help is welcome

Can you please direct me on the mapper ? Is it a custom mapper ?

Then it IS a custom mapper! :)
Please open Config, and click on mappers icon.
On the top of the window select your DENON and on the right side next to it use the drop-down menu to select "factory default"

Does your unit still has problems ?
If the answer is no, then there's a bug on the mapper you downloaded, or you messed something in it.

If the answer is yes, please try to rename your Documents\VirtualDj\settings.xml file to something like Documents\VirtualDj\settings_backup.xml and try again.
If you STILL have issues then most likely you unit has developed a hardware fault and you will have to take it on a service center.
