Topic: Video Tweak Question (Max Memory Use)

Question for you guys in the know, is there any disadvantage of setting the max memory use to a small number say 16 to get rid of video freezing issues? For whatever reason the clipbank if run in loop mode for a long period of time will freeze and no matter what you do you have to close vdj and restart to fix it. Getting sick of this, if it's only loading 16 meg into memory at a time? Would that help?

Core I7 4th gen 4GB Ram, Nvida 610GT 2GB video card 7200rpm hd

where do you want to change the max mem use...? are you working with the registry tool..?

Video freezes (locks up) on screen. When running clipbank for awhile in the background the effect will eventually freeze on the screens in the bar. Sometimes the odd video will freeze as well. Virtual DJ will still work playing files when loaded just the video is frozen.

Yes, using the reg tool.

what are the video settings in the reg tool....?
Speed load and nVidia Freezbug active ?
Set VideoMaxMemUse half the value of VideoMemFree..?
