hi!
I use VJ home edition + Numark dj|io. I cant figure out how to use the mic in. I've read a few other posts here and it looks like the software does not support the mic-in...is that true ? Still, I've found a mic-in-volume shortcut in VJ, so I though there must be a way to use it.
Secondly, windows XP mixer seems also not to support my soundcard very well. Basically I can just use the line-out 1. Do I have to change drivers ?
Thanks in advanced, happy holiday.

I run the home edition, legally purchased one week ago ! The pro is just too expensive for me a the moment.
I've tried the 4.1 setup but it does not work either.

The DJio mic is a physical passthrough to output two only.
It is intended that it is a very low latency playback device.
If you want a mic interface perhaps an Alesis I02 or Usb mic cable would help you.

Actually the mic through is sent to Output 1.
I don't really need a mic, but since I have it, I would like to try it.
So is it supposed to work with Virtual Dj or not ?
If not, how can I make sure my soundcard is not damaged or whatever?

It passes out to output one into your mixer its not intended for use with VDJ.
It allows you to talk over the music.
