Topic: Gettting DJ Console today advice?

hello

I'll be getting the dj console this afternoon, and I was wondering if anyone had a few tips or advice on this hardware.

I've already DL'd the new firmware and drivers do I need anything else?

Will my full version of VDJ work with the djconsole?
Does the hardware crossfader move the software one?
Are the Headphone problems solved?

did you ever finish you console skin?

hi cyder...

console works great with full version, and even scratch on jogwheels with version 2.0 ;)

all sliders will move in skin as well, it really cool to see... move crossfader on concole, moves crossfader on skin... and all other sliders and buttons as well :)

headphones are solved... with 7.1 option - and works just fine. An so does microphone input as well :)


my skin? hehe.. design is finished, working on pannels (xml) right now... thing it will be finished this week, i hope :)

Before we can use dj-in-norway's DJConsole skin, you can use the 'official' one that comes with VDJ2 :)

P.S.: Indeed, the DJConsole works great with VDJ. Don't forget to check the '7.1' box in the sound options to pre-listen in your headpones ;)
