Hi guys
in this time I'm working with the mainboard soundcard (laptop) and with a old PCMCIA for monitoring (headphones).

First....The two soundcard have different sound quality.
Second....The PCMCIA don't work very good but for monitoring don't give me any problem.

I wish to use an external mixer.....
Is there on the consumer market an USB audio adaptator with two line output???
Or I must buy 2 USB Audio adaptator????

I saw the MIXVIBES usb audio adaptator
Is it good????
Do you Know the link to purchase it on another web site....

Best Regards
Francesco

Look for TELEX USB audio device. Is not easy to have the same sound from two defferents sound cards. I use laptop playing in gigs but a sent out only the usb audio and i use internal sound card for cue.
For TELEX

I actually use the Telex USB audio device. I have been for several months. The one I have only has one stereo output. The level on that device is just a bit lower than the laptop onboard sound card. I run them both as 2 seperate channels to the mixer. (headphones are plugged into the mixer for cueing) Before this I was running a split mono output from the onboard card. This only gives you one channel of the true stereo, not a full mono. When setting up the Telex sound device, I lower the main sound cards volume by about 15-20% this matches them up very nicely. I do not notice any less sound quality from the usb device. In fact it was a very nice jump up in quality from the old split mono way I was doing it.

good luck!!

I use the usb adapter from mixvibes since 5 months and it works great.

the product is recognized as philips by windows XP
and install without any driver

the doc claims that it can work in 16/24bits up to 96KHz but no tested
