Hi VirtualDJ Team,
I have been using VirtualDJ for a long time, running it on a high-end 24-core laptop. While I love the advanced search features and overall stability of VDJ, I am really missing a specific visual and interactive feature during live gigs that I haven't been able to replicate, even after months of trying different settings and macros.
In the past, software like Alcatech BPM Studio had a dedicated, small, interactive window for the Crossfader / Automix curve right in the center of the screen.
It showed two crossing volume lines (the curve). The magic of this window was that it was fully interactive live during a gig: You could look at the curve for the upcoming transition. You could use your mouse to instantly click and drag the volume lines to warp the curve (making it smooth, sharp, asymmetrical, or a hard cut) on the fly, customized for that exact next track.Once satisfied with the visual curve, you just hit the manual "Fade / Mix Now" button.
Currently, VDJ's Automix editor or changing the global crossfader settings requires too many clicks or doesn't offer that instant, visual "grab-and-warp" interaction on the main skin during a live performance.
Could you please consider adding an optional, interactive graphic curve window to the default Pro skins? A window where we can visually shape the upcoming fade curve with the mouse in a split second before hitting the manual fade button.
It would be a lifesaver for DJs who prefer absolute visual and hands-on control over every single transition.
Thank you for your continuous hard work on this amazing software!
Best regards,
Paul Ranod at ranod@live.nl

I have just uploaded the 64-bit dll on the website (version 4.3). Now we need to wait for the review/approval.

It'll be available when it's been reviewed, it taking 3 or 4 weeks is not unusual.

It’s been 17 days now, and the 64-bit version of CrossfaderCurves8 still isn't available for download.
I can't believe it.

Believe it, it will be released when the plugin review gets round to it, I've known it take 6 weeks from set to published when they're busy.
