We have:
set_firstbeat
That works great to find the first beat. I used it on a hard song like "I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor" and it found the first beat after the vocal which was pretty amazing.
Is it possible to add this to Virtual DJ too?:
set_lastbeat
I am using this now instead and it usually work right but sometimes, it doesn't. Finding the last beat would probably work a lot better but, probably not a fade out. I am working mainly with DJ mixes that have an intro and outro.
I don't know if it's possible but, maybe make one to find the Grid Anchor Locks too. Most of the time, they seem to be lined up with the tempo of the song. I believe after the next version with Fluid Grid added that they will be 99.9% of the time.
Here's my requests for two of them:
goto_last_beat: A command that identifies the final beat marker on the grid (ignoring silence or reverb tails).
grid_anchor_lock: A toggle to prevent the anchor from moving once it's been manually set (so a script or "re-analyze" can't mess up your hard work).
Thank you!

100% agree with grid anchor lock. On songs that haven't been analyzed in some time, there are times when I've set first beat grid anchor, then later choose to re-analyze, mainly to update the bpm and gain but don't want the first beat grid anchor to move.
It would also be nice if, after analyze, there would be an option for VDJ to automatically write the updated bpm to the ID3 tag.
