I bought an AlphaTheta Euphonia Rotary Mixer. I bought it when they first came out in March, 2024. Previously I had used a Pioneer DJM-A9 Mixer and works out of the box with Virtual DJ. The Euphonia, while it does work technically with some custom configuring there are none of the midi presets or mappings that work. I would really appreciate compatability with this mixer in the future. It works with Serato out-of-box but I strongly dislike that software and use VDJ on a daily basis for many years.

I am still here and still have this mixer and I am still hoping that it gets added someday.

I can't find a midi table for the device. Ask alpha for it [midi table], it might not be that involved for defining.

Is it now supported or? Probably it would be interesting to have it mapped and supported officially.

The MIDI map is now here but I can't fathom why people think an external mixer would need MIDI mapping to VDJ.
All the controls on the mixer already have a function. They change something on the mixer. What would anyone need to control in VDJ at the same time? Enlighten me. 🤔

@groovin for instance when I use a digital mixer I need to assign Sample Volume to a knob and usually I map it on a knob I dont use.If I connect the Euphonia to my laptop via USB and I open VDJ if it's not officially supported can I use it ? I dont think so.

Yes it is possible because all you need for that is simple midi. So you think wrong.

The issue is that the knob you don't use (on the Euphoria) still does something on the hardware. If you map it to control sample volume it will do that - but also still do something else.
Anything with MIDI control that is supported by your OS can be mapped by you without needing native support in VDJ.

While not necessary, it is nice to have external mixers mapped, even with them being just fake actions.
The reason is that the software uses the fake actions to monitor when a deck is playing on air.
Therefore a lot of functions work better:
Load security
Prelisten
History logging
Automatic Master Deck assignment
e.t.c.
That being said, while we try to map every device we can, we usually need some form of access to a device to finalize it's mapping before making it official.
Currently we don't have access to a Euphonia mixer.
We can work something out from the MIDI chart provided by Alpha Theta, but we will also need a user who actually owns the device and is willing to help us finalize the mapper before being able to release something "official/native"
So, if the OP still owns the device and wants to help, (or just somebody else) please send me a PM.
