my pc is more than powerfull enough, ryzen 5 3600xt 6core, 16gb ram, nvidia 3070.

1. STEMS were working before, then it stopped working
2. then I uninstalled and reinstalled it and stems were working
3. then the next time I opened VDJ, it stopped working again

This issue seems to be exclusive to RTX 30 series graphics cards which is a damn shame. The devs NEED to do something about this because this is a huge issue going forward

Could you expand on that? What crashes? VDJ or the operating system?

If it's VDJ crashing, how is it crashing? What happens?

If it closes and restarts then Atomix should be receiving crash logs (assuming you're online) so will be able to tell what's causing the issue.

There are a few other threads reporting/having similar experiences.

for example:
https://www.virtualdj.com/forums/239114/VirtualDJ_Technical_Support/Stems_not_working_crash_when_changing_math_engine_settings.html

http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/239095/General_Discussion/EQ_auto_switches_to_disabled_on_track_load_.html

all using similar graphic cards.

Don't know if that is the same issue that you are experiencing, though, as groovindj points out you have not given a lot of details.

And don't know if you experience that, approx 15 min time period, before stems will. sort of start to work, and during that time, VDJ is using a lot of CPU? And during that 15 min, VDJ will not shut down without leaving a phantom process in task manager.

(and, if you did wait 15 min or so, does VDJ work better?)

And the other thing strange about this issue, is that the first time one installs VJD .. everything will work perfectly, its only after first restart of VDJ, that this issue occurs.

I am sure the devs are working on this issue as you read this.
