which OS ?
i.e.: windows (all versions): most of the time the system will open the "not responding" dialog, just click "terminate"
if not, open task manager and kill the VirtualDJ task(s)
it may take a while - several minutes - to close due to bug reports
note sometime just wait because VDJ self recover from crashes
