Hi- I'm sure this question has been asked, though I've searched and haven't found an answer that has worked for me.
I want to program my Hercules RMX balance knob to work as effect slider 1. It would be great if I could use it for both decks, with assigning a shift button to differentiate between left and right. Hope that makes sense.
So far I could figure out how to control effect slider 1 but it would only work for the left deck.
Any help would be appreciated.

First you have to pick a button to give up to shift, source looks pretty good if you don't need lineIn/TimeCode
Change that mapping to
shift
then your dial
shift ? deck right effect_slider 1 1 : deck left effect_slider 1 1
