I've recently added NI Maschine to my setup. Mostly as a sample/loop player but ultimately to play my own productions and remixes. Maschine software is running on a separate computer and the output comes into an deck in VDJ via external input. I also send a MIDI clock from VDJ to Maschine for tempo sync.
The problem I'm running into is when automatic master tempo is enabled in VDJ, and I select the deck Maschine is coming in on, it becomes the master and sends a seemingly random BPM to Maschine. The same thing happens when all other decks are stopped regardless of which one is selected.
Maybe I'm missing something but I cannot think of a situation, such as having a turntable or CDJ connected to an analog input, that would benefit from being the master tempo source.
It would be really nice to either disable master tempo on decks set to external or provide an option to disable it per-deck.
