Hi. I have an old analog Pioneer DM 300 and on the rear panel theres a slide switch to select between line and phono. Have you checked that on yours.?

I just Googled - is it the long thin mixer from the front of a "DJ console" wooden box?

My advice is forget it. Just get yourself a new mixer.

Even if you had the knowledge to modify the inputs, a mixer like that hasn't got the features that todays models (even the cheapest) have, and the components are probably shot anyway. If you don't know how to DIY and took it in somewhere, it'd cost you more to have it modified than buying a new mixer.

It's not worth the time and trouble.

By the way, PLEASE SHOP SHOUTING.

It's not just the level the phono input will also have an riaa input curve.

Better off with a new mixer

You can get phono to line level converters!
But like previous comments, probably not worth bothering about. Converters are at least £20 each, then you'd have to make a case for the mixer to go into, is it worth the effort???
