Topic: Virtual DJ will not read wav files

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've just transferred my PC downloaded files to my MacBook Pro Laptop external hard drive. Virtual will not recognize files with a .wav extension. I have checked the 'CODECS' but nothing has changed. I really don't want to re-load 20k songs to make them mp3 files. Help!

Make sure wav | WAV decoder is listed in CONFIG -> Codecs

Also, check the format of the WAV files themselves. They must be standard 16-bit 44.1Khz (CD quality) - 24-bit and 32-bit are not currently supported.
